Do not drive on new concrete for at least 7 days. Foot traffic after 24–48 hours is fine. Full structural cure happens at 28 days.
Avoid de-icing chemicals during the first winter — that’s when concrete is most vulnerable. After year one, sand is always the safer choice. If you must salt, hose street-salt off your vehicles before parking.
4″ for standard residential. 5–6″ if you’ll have RVs, trucks, or construction vehicles on it. We’ll recommend based on what you drive.
