No. Please avoid salt and de-icing chemicals, especially during the first winter.
Depending on traffic, every 2-4 years for residential. A simple test: spray water and if it beads up, your sealer is intact.
Frost walls prevent structures from heaving with winter freeze-thaw cycles. They’re required for any heated structure in Wisconsin and recommended for sheds, garages, and barns you want to keep level for decades.
